Cons Public Water Supply District No. C-1

On April 7, 2020 C-1 experienced a water outage from 2 pm to 9 30 pm along Old Highway 21, going south from East/West Four Ridge Roads to Tower Road. This outage occurred during the construction of a water main relocation for Jefferson county. THIS OUTAGE WAS NOT PLANNED. While connecting the water mains, the coupling, which was the correct size, would not fit around the pipe. The pipe, which is over 40 years old, developed a rough thicker exterior increasing the outside d...iameter, so a larger coupling had to be found, purchased and installed. This was unforeseen. This led to the water outage lasting an extended period of time. It is our policy to notify customers if the water is going to be off in their area due to scheduled maintenance. We are aware of the water outage from West Four Ridge along Old Highway 21 to Tower Road. We will continue to work on restoring the water service. It should be back on by 8 pm this evening, Tuesday 4/7/2020.
