This position cares for the day to day operations of our livestock facility, processing & packaging, and educational opportunities for the community. Exciting things are coming soon at Colonial Gardens! We have been hard at work building an outdoor classroom and production garden behind our big greenhouse, Bertha. We started by securing cardboard as a modified version of sheet mulching. The cardboard acts as a weed barrier and will break down and improve the soil over time. Soon we will be adding our garden beds and a seed container for our new washing station for fresh produce in the market.
