Whew.... I just spent the morning on a Seed Savers Exchange order. Done! I've got most of my signs made but still have to stick them on the signboards. Almost done...well ...3/4... Other seeds are already spread out on my dining room table. (I eat in front of the computer lately. ) I'll sure be glad when the organizational work is done (Yeah.. don't laugh. I know what you're thinking) and I can get in the greenhouses.
If you are still doing last minute shopping, here's an idea. Too late to ship unless delivery time doesn't matter, but you can pick up at my house or I will deliver to your porch if you are stuck at home. Message me on FB.

I've still got peppers growing in my greenhouse. Chocolate habaneros are coming on strong. I also have sweet heatless habaneros that my friends from the Caribbe...an love. Shishitos, Caribbean red habaneros, and Scotch Bonnets. Hot Portugals, which make a great hot sauce. If you want some or especially if you know a hab-loving cook, let me know text 660-349-0061 See more
Guajillo peppers. I'm drying them whole. Excellent for sauces and moles. I'll have some at the market tomorrow. I'm also going to look at the cost for shipping and post on etsy and ebay.
Liatris aspera. These would do well in full sun along with black eyed susan (rudbeckia fulgida) and purple love grass. Very showy late summer/early fall display. Easy to grow and drought tolerant once established.
If you have used any of my smoked ground peppers I would love your input. I'm not a great cook. What types do you have, and what dishes do you use them in? Smoked green pepper, pepperoncini, chipotle, any of the habanero types, ancho, serrano, Anaheim, Ostro-Cyklon, Leutschauer, cayenne. Dried peppers: chile de arbol, hawk's claw ,Thai, time bomb. Any others I've missed.
