Our next first-dose COVID-19 vaccine clinics will be held April 8-10 and will be open to ANYONE who lives or works in the state of Missouri who is 16 and older (for the Pfizer vaccine) or 18 and older (for the Moderna or Janssen/J&J vaccine). We do not yet know which vaccine(s) we will be receiving. INFORMATION: Due to a recent increase in COVID-19 positive cases in both Harrisonville and Cass County (going from an average of 121 cases per week, county-wide..., to an average of 235 cases per week in the last two weeks), masks will be required within all City-owned buildings, until further notice. We understand that there are a wide variety of view points when it comes to wearing masks during this pandemic and respect each of those opinions. Monday, November 9 - Wednesday, November 18 All donation can be dropped off on the table outside the gift shop. ... Suggested items: Salt & pepper, flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, vanilla extract, boxed pie crust, chocolate chips, marshmallows, pecans/walnuts and canned pie filling Green beans, corn, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, mushrooms, gravy (all items must be canned) Boxed stuffing, french crispy friend onions, rice and mac & cheese Cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, cream of celery soup and chicken broth **All members of the public are invited to participate, but will be subject to COVID-19 screening when entering the facility. This Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Cass County Sheriff’s Department and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration will provide the public the opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your pills for disposal to the main entrance at Cass Regional Medical Center. (Sites cannot accept liquids, needles or sharps, only pills or patches.)
