We received news last night that one of our long-time campers, volunteers, and intern staffers, Emily Hightower, passed away. Please keep her family and friends in your prayers during this time. "Emily IS what Barnabas is all about. Emily is Barnabas. She is Barnabas' biggest fan, she is YOUR biggest fan, and was always there. She would never let her disability hold her back or define her. She loved to laugh, she loved to joke and tell stories. She had the biggest heart and I am grateful to have known her. She has touched thousands through her years and through Barnabas, the Mrosko's family included.
